Black, White, Kraft, and Red

Hello there and happy Monday!! This week's challenge at Craft Your Passion is a color challenge (which I LOVE!!)! :) We are asking that you incorporate Black, White, Craft, and Red into your project, and one lucky winner will receive some GAWJUSS images from QKR Stampede!

I played with QKR's Love Bears, and colored them up with copics...
This one was actually my little sis's Valentine's card, and there's nothing like a late valentine to say I love you, lol!! :)

I will be submitting these cuties to the following challenges:

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!

It's Black, It's White, Lovin' you Yeah, Yeah, Yeah...

Hmmm... I guess I'm channeling my inner Michael Jackson today, but whenever I look at this week's Inky Impressions challenge, I hear MJ singing his rendition of "Black and White." Then I transition to "Ebony and Ivory" (that was my Kindergarten Graduation song... just sayin.) :)

ANYWHOO, today I guess I'm in a musical mood, but I have got this lil Black and White love inspired card to share with you first! :)

Don't you  just wanna chuckle at the sentiment??? I packed this lil baby up for my hubby's cousin's wedding this week. It's perfect for a wedding sentiment, no? LOL... I forgot to snap the inside, but I did go with a more traditional interior greeting cause it was soooo not wedding ready just as is... But it does make me laugh! :)

SOOOOO, head on over to the Inky Impressions and play along with this week's black and white challenge for your own chance to win a GAWJUSS Inky image! :) I just LOVE Nicole's sweet images, and I think you will too! :)

I will be submitting this card to the following challenges:

Pile it On (sentiment as focus)
Brown Sugar (Die Cut)
Crafter's Cafe (Vintage/Shabby Chic)
Simon Says Stamp (Wedding/Anniversary)
QKR Stampede (Sentiment)

Have a great rest of the week!

Snow days mean sneaking into the craft room...

So everyone seems to have an opinion on all the snow, and as much as I'm OVER the constant snowfall, I AM loving the extra time in my craft room (when the kids are occupied, of course!)

I originally made this card for the Lacy Sunshine challenge (Sentiments) but when I finished her up, I was too late for the challenge! :) (Has that every happened to you?)

But Izzybella Boo's such a cutie I had to get her blogged anyway! :) I colored her in with copics (of course) (Skin: E000, E00, E11, E04, R20; Hair: E50, E53, E23; Jacket and trim: BG10, BG11, BG13; Pants and flowers: Y04, Y08, Y17).

I will be submitting this cutie pie in the following challenges:

One Crazy Stamper (Anything Goes)
4 Crafty Girlz (Anything Goes)

Thanks for swinging by and stay warm!!

Some more wishful thinking of Spring...

Aaaahhhh!! It's Monday!! Where did the weekend GO???? And why is there STILL so much snow outside? :) I am honestly trying to will Spring into being these days... At least an end to the incessant snowing, please. :)

This week's challenge at Craft Your Passion is to include a "Girly Girl" kind of theme, and I HAD to go there with the Springtime flowers again... I mean, eventually we have GOT to get back to sunny days, no? :)

This week we are being sponsored by Crafty Sentiments, and I got to play with Tess Summer Fun (again, wishful thinking!!) Isn't she ADORABLE??!!

I colored Tess in with Copics (Hair: E50, E53, E23, E25, E27; Skin: E000, E00, E11, E04, R20; Dress RV10, RV13, RV14; Flowers: RV10, RV14, RV25, RV19, Y08, Y17) and then I cracked out my Martha Stewart Butterfly punch and the edger that I've had in my stash since forever! :) PLUS this itty bitty piece of pink lace that I have been hoarding since forever because it was the last piece of its kind... :) And to round out the Easel card, I used a white feather and white butterfly that I got at my favorite LSS, Scrap-A-Doodle Doo! :)

ANYWHOO, thanks for swinging by today! I hope you have a wonderful week and I soooo hope Spring will appear soon! :)

I will be submitting this one to the following challenges:
Craft Dee Bowz (Anything Goes with a Handmade Bow)
Crafting From the Heart (Flowers)

I Mustache you to forgive the corny puns...

I STINK at punny sentiments... My friend Stephanie at Scrap-a-Doodle Doo rocks them out, as does my Design Team Brother from another Mother, Greg... But I stink at them so much that I generally have to google for ideas...

No difference here. :) I LOVED this image from Lacy Sunshine, and I have this black and white duck tape that I totally envisioned in a card with this lil cutie... I will have to use it next time though because the tape is in my car, and my car happens to be under eight inches of snow. I just have NOT had a chance to dig out my car from the most recent snowfalls, and I don't WANT to!! I'm soooooo tired of the icy white stuff, it's ridiculous now! :)

I made this one for the Lots of Layers challenge at Lacy Sunshine, and it is featuring Eleanor and Pickles The Stashes... I colored her in with copics (Dress: BG10, BG72, BG75, E31, E33; Hair E50, E53, E23; Flowers: R39, R22; Frog YG45, G83) and then I added a doily and some Graphic 45 and Basic Grey designer papers cut with a new Spell binders Die I picked up over the weekend! :) SOOOO much fun!

I will be submitting this one to the following challenges:

Catered Crop (Birthdays)
Come and Get it (Funny Birthday)
Hiding in my Craft Room (Designer Paper x3)

Thanks for swinging by and have a wonderful week!

Springtime Colors on Facebook...

Hello again Sassy lovers! :) If you haven't hopped along for the Sassy Studio Designs Spring Blog hop, scroll down for more information and play along. If you're back for a SECOND visit today, then read on! :)

This month the Sassy Studio Designs team is hosting a wonderful progressive challenge on Facebook, where you receive a FREE Sassy image to play along with and then you are asked to play along with our "Spring Pastels" challenge to qualify for even MORE prizes!! :)

This month, the freebie is Effie Trinket Sassy (1)... If you haven't seen The Hunger Games or Catching Fire, Effie is one of the most... colorful characters from the series, and she was DEFINITELY fun to play with for this challenge! :)

I colored Effie up with copics (Skin: E000, E00, E11, E04; Hair and dress: RV10, RV93; Sleeves and bow: B000, B00; Flowers: Y02, Y17).

I have been WANTING to color hair in a nontraditional color since forever, and Effie offered a perfect chance! :) Once she was colored up, I HAD to embellish her up according to what SHE would find acceptable! :) I used some flowers and doilies I had in my stash and seam binding from Wild Orchid, a beautiful  rose charm and flat backed pearls from Inky Impressions, and old, old old papers that I have been hoarding since FOREVER! :)

SOOO, head on over to the Facebook Fan page and enter to play along with this month's progressive challenge! I am sure you will have a blast!!

I will also be submitting this one to the following challenges:

Feeling sketchy yet??

Happy Hump day ya'll!! Adina here with a new challenge over at Inky Impressions...

This week, the Inkettes are playing along with a sketch, which, I must admit, is one of my favorite kinds of challenges... I LOVE coloring in my stamps and picking papers to play with, but I'm often stuck there, or I repeat the same kind of design element thereafter. Sketches help me to shake it up a little and although I can add my own flair, it does help to have a puzzle picture to refer to! :)
The sketch above was interpreted using the Open Drawer Desk from Inky Impressions, which was colored in with copics.

I used browns for the desk (E07, E09, E13, E17) and then colored in using a variety of colors through out (predominantly BG0000, BG10, BG13, and BG15). Throw in a doily, some buttons, and some OOLLLDDD papers, AND some Gesso on kraft cardstock using a stencil, and viola... A crafty card. :)

So head on over to Inky Impressions' challenge blog so you can check out the sketch action from the rest of the Inkettes, then come play along!

I will also be submitting this card to the following challenges:
Addicted to Stamps (Make your Mark)
Word Art Wednesdays (Anything Goes)
Cuttin and Stampin (Anything Goes with a Writing Instrument ... the markers on the desk!)

TWO HUNDRED challenges!

Hey there and welcome to another week (No cases of the Mondays allowed today!!). This week we are celebrating our 200th challenge over at Craft Your Passion!! How exciting!! (that's really a ridiculous amount of challenges, just sayin...)

So this week's challenge is to find ANY challenge from the past year and play along... again for some of you! :) I chose Challenge #173, "3D it" and we are being sponsored by 2 Cute Ink, so I had the awesome opportunity to play along with Butterfly Bear...

I colored the beautiful bear in with my favorite colors... BG0000, BG10, BG13 and some RV10 for the accents. The darker pinks (RV14, YR17, G21) were used to round out the card. The rest of the design was nice and simple, using some Graphic 45 papers and a big bow.

I will be submitting this lil cutie to the following challenges:
Craft Dee Bowz (Anything Goes with a handmade bow)
Fitztown Challenge (Anything Goes)
Make it Monday (Anything Goes)

A lil Something for Someone Special

Hi there bloggers, and welcome to another Wednesday!! We are expecting MORE snow in Northern NJ, so I'm kind of hoping today will be another crafty kind of day, but time will tell... Otherwise, I'll be back at work PRAYING for the weekend! :)

This week's challenge at Inky Impressions is to make something for "Someone Special"... I used "Sent with Love" and colored her up with Copics and then glossed up the heart with Dimensionals...

This lil cutie just makes me smile, no? :) She IS a sweet heart... And I have just the sister in mind who will be getting this lil valentine next week! :) (I LOVE when I have someone in mind for a card!! I don't know about you, but they start to pile up after a while, and THEN I don't have the right kind of card on hand for an occasion... figures, lol!).

Anywhoo, I'll be submitting this lil lady to the following challenges:
Crafty Sentiments (Love is in the Air)
ABC Challenges (Anything Goes, DT Call)
Creative Inspirations (Anything Goes and Sketch)
Paper Pretties (Valentine's Love)

Thanks for swinging by and stay warm!!

Sassy Progressive Challenge on Facebook

Hey there! Adina here with a quick announcement/reminder... Sassy Studio Designs hosts a month-long challenge on Facebook where if you participate and play along each month, you can earn free images for the challenge AND prizes!

This month's challenge is hearts/sentiments and if you play along, you will get your OWN "Pin Up Kitty"...

Here's my take on the challenge... although I'll be the first to admit that I totally goofed on the challenge and didn't get the hearts into it... and I don't have a picture of the sentiment in the card!! :(

I had a BLAST coloring in this Sassy girl, but I honestly have NO idea who to give it to... I mean, my husband gets ALL my cards as it is, and then I end up saving them myself, lol... Maybe my sister for her bachelorette or something... :) I don't know... :)

I'll be submitting this one to the following challenges as well:
Pile it On (Ribbon)
The Squirrel and the Fox (Embellishments)

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Love is in the air...

I know it's Valentine's Day right around the corner, but when I saw this week's "Love" challenge for Craft Your Passion, I HAD to make something "loving" but NOT "Valentines-y". Coupled with the fact that I just found out an old college friend is giving birth like today, I knew exactly which image I had to use from A Day for Daisies (this week's sponsor!!) :)

I played with "Baby's Smile" for this week's card, and because my own son said the baby looked like him, I made the baby a boy... BUT I'm not sure what Sarah is having because she happens to be one of "those" people who are waiting for the baby to arrive to find out its gender... I mean, how can she STAND the anxiety?? :)

Isn't the image simply beautiful?? I absolutely love the whimsical nature of these Digis... they make me happy lol... :)

So I will be submitting this one to the following challenges:
Addicted to Stamps (Hearts and stamped sentiment)
Lacy Sunshine (Sentiment)
Emerald Fairies (Banner)

Thanks for stopping by and have a beautiful day!!
