It's a Green Hop!!

Hello there Sassy Crafters and happy Saturday to ya!! :) This month we were blessed with not one but two SASSYLICIOUS releases! Earlier this month Lindsay and the Sassy Design Team announced the awesome Sentimints created by our own Sassy Bro, Greg!

And NOW we have the exciting chance to show you some GAWJUSS new Sassy images that TOTALLY compliment the existing line of images!

In particular, I got to play with Maxi Skirt Momma, who was PERFECTLY timed with all the Baby Shower and Bridal shower stuff going on in my life these days!! :)

I recycled a Children's Chipboard book that Elijah no longer uses to make this mini album for my sister in law who is expecting her first baby in June... I LOVE this image!! :)

Now, you have GOT to check out the other gorgeous images being released this time around AND play along with this month's Tic Tac Toe "Green" themed challenge!

In order to hop along and see all the gorgeous creations by my fellow Sassy Design Team members, start out by visiting Lori's blog (see below), or keep hopping along to Lindsay's Blog if you have already begun your journey!! :) Either way, happy hopping and happy Spring!!

Sassy Showgirl hits the stage!

Hello there Sassy fans and happy Tuesday!! The past two weeks have been so full of dance competitions for me and my mini me, and it has been SOOOO hectic crazy that I totally forgot to post my Sassy Showgirl for this month's Facebook Challenge!

This month YOU can get your own Free Sassy Showgirl just for agreeing to play along with our Facebook progressive challenge! Head over to Facebook for the details, and then whip out YOUR favorite color combination to play along.

I used Tiffany Blue, Black, and White, which is absolutely my favorite color combo right now. And I will post MORE pics using this combo as soon as I can show off my Sister's Bridal Shower stuff, but for now, it's still all hush hush! :)

This Sassy Diva was colored in using Copics (Skin: E000, E00, E11, E04; Hair: E50, E53, E23, E25; Leotard and Feathers: BG10, BG13; Bow: C03, C05, C07, C09). This is actually a tent card design I played with for the secret surprise but I didn't end up using this particular design... I really can't WAIT to share all the goodies I'm playing with, but it's too soon... Anywhoo... My Sassy Showgirl was SOOOO much fun to play with so head on over to play along with this month's challenge so you can get your very own Diva to color up in your favorite hues! :)

And happy crafting!

Going Green

Happy Saint Patty's day blogland!!! This week, the challenge at Craft Your Passion is quite apropos considering today's holiday! :) We are asking players to "Go Green" and incorporate Green or something recycled into their projects!

I played with Birthday Sandy from Inky Impressions and recycled an old piece of Lace and a tag that was once a bookmark (on the other side).

Sandy is colored in with Copics and outlined with a Vintage Photo Distress Marker...

I will be submitting this card to the following challenges:
613 Avenue Create (Anything Goes with Flowers)
One Stitch at a Time (Digi)
Hiding in my Craft Room (Color it)
The Pink Elephant (Layers, Ribbon, and a pinch of Green)

Thanks for swinging by today and have a wonderful day!!

A New Inky Release Just in time for Spring!!

Hello there Blogland! This month, the Inky Impressions team are welcoming three new ADORABLE additions to the Inky family...

We are pleased to welcome Butterfly Lili

And my favorite, Teddy Painting a Summer Scene...

AND this is what I came up with using Teddy... I was inspired by my DT Sis Lisa to use Kraft and color on it, and I LOVE the effect it gives...

I will be submitting Teddy to the following challenges:

CAS on Sunday (one layer)
Crafty Calendar (Animal Antics)

Looking for some Green...

In so many ways lol!! Yesterday we had our first sixty degree day in a LOOOOONNNNNGGG time... And today it's back to the twenties... But the Spring weather was encouraging, to say the least! :)

AND it was right in time for our "Green" challenge at Inky Impressions! :) This week we are asking participants to incorporate the COLOR Green into their projects (to encourage the Green to come on OUT!) :)

I played with Christopher Mowing for this challenge, and paper pieced his shirt to match the OOOLLLLDD DP on my card...This paper has been in my stash since my CafeMom days!! THEN I added some Green Alcohol inks ala Copics to the Mushroom Charm for another touch of Verde...

I will be sending this lil guy in for the following challenges:

Crafty Sentiments (Lots of Green)
Ladybug Crafts (One for the Boys)
Oldie but a Goodie (Spring has Sprung)

Thanks for stopping by!! Have a great day!!

Whaaaaaaaa??? What happened to my blog post???

SOOOOOOO, thanks for swinging by today and I have GOT to apologize to my Sassy bloggers who stopped by yesterday for our new release hop!! We are celebrating the launch of Greg's new SENTIMINTS!!

Blogger seems to have decided to quit on me, and THREE of my scheduled posts have completely disappeared... I will have to rewrite them and get them up ASAP. I'm sorry though, again, for the bump in the hop!

Without further ado, I got to play with the Space Birthday sentiment from Greg's newest launch and paired it up with Birthday Cake Sassy for this Sassy lil combo...

If you haven't yet checked out Greg's sentiments, he is super creative and has an awesome new collection of sassy sayings that go perfectly with so may of Lindsay's images... you will not be disappointed! :)

So if you stumbled across my blog by accident and want to check out the rest of the release!), head over to the Sassy blog to start the hop,! Otherwise, if you arrived here from Chris' blog, head on over to visit Lindsay, our Sassy creator! :)

And thanks for your patience in all of this!! :) Happy hopping!

Charmed, I'm sure... :)

So ok, I'm not good at blog titles that are not cheesy... :) This week's challenge at Inky Impressions is, however, "Charming" :) AND the store at Inky Impressions has absolutely, hands down, the cutest, most affordable charms I've found on the market yet!! You have GOT to check them out, and NOT because I'm on the Design Team! :)

I played with the adorable Lili Roller Skating and I inked her up with copics. THEN I got to embellish a card up using the AWESOME Roller Skate Charm and Cupcake charm! Isn't she a CUTIE???

I seriously enjoyed inking this lil girl up and making her all retro with Creative Memories papers I had lurking in my stash! I even added Gemstone brads to the corners of the card, which I NEVER do! :)

I am submitting this lil cutie to the following challenges:
Graph It Markers (Color Denim)
Jo's scrap Shack (Florals)
A Creative Romance (Bingo: Charm, Ribbon, Bow)
Crafty Girls (Anything Goes)
DL Art (Image of a girl)
